StartAutomate

StartAutomate is an AI and no-code automation agency. I built its website, which presents the agency's services and use cases and books strategy calls, and worked with a second developer on the automations it delivers: AI appointment scheduling, customer support and follow-ups, custom chatbots, smart email assistants and RAG systems that answer questions from a business's own documents.

What StartAutomate does

  • Agency website with services, use cases and consultation booking
  • AI appointment scheduling that captures customer details into a CRM
  • AI customer support and follow-ups for payment reminders and feedback
  • Custom chatbots that qualify leads and book from CRM or staff availability
  • Smart email assistants that reply in the client's own writing style
  • RAG automations that answer questions from documents, databases and wikis
  • Workflows on Make, Zapier and n8n, connected to CRMs such as HubSpot and Salesforce

The problem

Small teams lose hours to repetitive work: answering the same questions, chasing payments, booking calls and copying data between tools. Off-the-shelf automations rarely fit how a particular business actually runs.

Approach

Each automation starts from a strategy call and is built on the no-code platform that fits the client, with AI steps where judgement is needed: classifying a lead, drafting a reply, answering from the company's documents. The website is the front door, explaining the services with concrete use cases and booking the first call.

Key decisions

  1. D1

    Platform to fit the client

Make, Zapier or n8n is chosen per client, so the automation lives where their team already works.

  2. D2

    Answers from their own data

RAG grounds AI replies in the client's documents and wikis instead of the model's general knowledge.

  3. D3

    Use cases over feature lists

The website sells with concrete workflows (time tracking, CRM sync, follow-ups) that a founder can picture in their own business.

My contributions

  • Built the agency's website
  • Built AI and no-code automations together with a second developer
